Cheese Importers is the best thing about Colorado. Forget the mountains and natural features. Forget Boulder. Forget the San Juan mountains. This place is the best thing in the whole state! Enter the freezer and gawk at the cheese for hours. There are some free cheeses to sample which you will walk past again and try. The cafe is great too, so are the wares from France, but did I mention the world selection of cheeses. You won't know which cheese to take home. That's okay. Take all of them home and spend $200 on cheese. Your soul will love you for your indulgence! This is better than hiking your favorite mountain!

So I've been here a lot. If you're looking for a salad, quiche or soup (lentils or french onion are my favorite), or a house warming gift? This is my go-to place in town. However, today I had some toddler free time and didn't realize I showed up 3 minutes before closing time. Not only did they take my order, they were ULTRA nice. Glass of wine? No problem? Bowl of onion soup? Absolutely. Wonderful service despite their wanting to go home on a Sunday evening? Wow. That's some hardcore fan-freaking-tastic customer service. Thank you!!

What a delight! Every corner is worth just pouring over. The walk in cheese case is worth the trip alone. If you're in Denver you should make this relatively quick drive. Hit this place and Left Hand Brewing for a fantastic day. If you're hungry grab a bite here too at their little deli. Maybe get a beer too, since that's a thing you can also do. Live Jazz? Yup. Also, great service. Every smile I saw was genuine.

The store itself is fantastic! There are a wide variety of items for your kitchen, from cookware to food to fun accessories. Things are pricey, but good quality. I've never eaten at the bistro inside, but I love the cheese room! An entire refrigerated room full of cheese and crackers, and there are always samples out to try. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the store is so charming!

A great place to pick up a light lunch or shop for something out of the ordinary. The cheese cooler is the best!! Always take out of town family and friends.
